Alana’s background is in environmental science, Yoga, martial art, mindfulness, and their underlying philosophies. A dedication to studying concepts of harmony and nature through traditional and modern sciences came about due to life’s challenges, and the desire to face difficulty and live peacefully with herself and others.
Alana now travels between India and Australia continuing to study and teach the philosophies and practices which her teachers share with her. She is an advocate for a holistic approach to life and health ( Soul Strong Society ) and is involved in a number of ongoing community health projects.
Through Kalari Australia, Alana hopes to pass on the knowledge which has been shared with her in a way that respects Kalarippayat as an art form capable of connecting us to our true nature, to each other and to the world around us.

Ramona is a qualified naturopath who began studying Kalari healing and martial arts in 2009. She has made several trips to India to study and train with her teacher and Guru, Sat Guru Hanuman Das, the founder of the Kalariyil Dharmikam Ashram in Kerala.
Originally from India, Ramona has lived and studied in various countries such as Brazil, Singapore, India and Japan. She has also practiced Kalari healing and martial arts in Brazil and North America. During her travel she explored local medicines, foods and cultures and also treated people from all over the world.
Ramona believes that Kalari and natural medicine involves continual study and is constantly working to improve her knowledge of traditional remedies and disciplines. She is passionate about health and well-being, and employs Kalari in her personal life. Ramona endeavours to help individuals gain equilibrium and harmony in their lives. Ramona is a firm believer that using Kalari methods, one can synergize the body, mind and spirit.

Katrin has always had a strong affinity to movement, practicing gymnastics, dance and acrobatics from a young age. After several years as a yoga student, she took part in a yoga teacher training in 2009 in Berlin, Germany, leading on to a visit to India to study directly at the origin.
After a Kalari workshop in Germany, she decided to make her first stop the Kerala Kalarippayatt Academy in India. The healing treatment received and the introduction to this practice marked a major change in her life path. Katrin has since been teaching and giving kalari nadi massages in Germany and Australia.
